Where to start. When I booked the move I thought thing would be in good hands do to the decent reviews they have I was definitely wrong.

The packers did a decent job wrapping so at this point I was somewhat confident that my items would be in good hands. Wow that was misleading.

I have moved about 13 times in my military career and some being international. This move 3 states over was the absolute worst.

From the beginning I get an email stating goods are on the way in an 18 wheeler semi truck. That since they will have to move to a smaller truck to make it in my apartment I would now have to pay an extra 431 $. This is very finely written in the contract yes but not mentions up front or even told how much it could be. With that said I asked ti talk to a supervisor to resolve this. The supervisor that called me called from a cell phone 1. But also while driving. Phone dies. She calls me back at a birthday party. Phone dies. Calls me back as she’s leaving with people in the back ground cursing. Phone dies. She tried to Call me back. I did not answer expecting she would call me back the next day on a business phone. Never got a call back.

During this call she said she would have someone contact the driver and tell them to attempt to pull into my apartment as my patching lots are big.

Well another issue. A day before my delivery I get a call from the driver. I ask hey did they contact you about attempting to deliver in the semi truck before doing a shuttle at which he said not. On top of that he says that’s not an issue anyways as my truck is smaller due to the semi truck being broken.

So not only does the contract state all interstate moves are done with a semi truck. I also have email verification from the company saying it was on a semi truck. And I was about to get charged for a shuttle fee due to having to download it from a semi truck. All to find out from the driver the truck was never part if the equation and it was broken. They don’t even know what’s going on in their own company.

After he arrives he opens this smaller trailer at which they had to fit multiple shipments In to make ends meet. And bam there is my stuff crammed all the way in the back. My tv just sitting on my couch not strapped down.

As he starts pulling the couches out I see all my bixes squished. Due to having to pack the truck so tight to fit all the shipments that were supposed to be done with a semi truck.

As my boxes come upstairs I see my boxes mangled . Holes in some. Rips. Ashes you name it. And bam a big hole in my tv box 70 inch. We open it up and it’s broke.

After everything is unloaded I sleep. Wake up and go through my stuff. Two items missing. A broken coffee table. Rips in both my couch and love seat. And a broken tv.

I contact the calims department. They offer me 75$. As they said I signed for a 60 cent per item insurance. I go back and look. I did my mistake. But no other insurance was ever offered to me or I would have taken a better insurance.

I try to work with them nothing. Only an increase if 25$. My tv alone was 1100$

I ask to talk to a supervisor oh guess what they don’t have one and all you can do is contact them via email.

Long story short avoid them at all cost. If you do use them get the final amount up front. Get extra insurance .

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3200

They were helpful, professional and arrived on time. My sister was worried her belongings would be damaged but upon arrival, everything was in one piece and they did such a good job securing her belongings. We were super happy with the results and how quick they got everything done. Communication went smoothly. We were able to get into contact with them easily. The moving process was stress-free. Nothing was damaged. Overall, very happy with the results and professionalism this team displayed. Will definitely use them again when we need to move.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4354

I was in a bind and, based on these positive reviews, reached out to Next Stop. What a mistake that was.

My salesperson was incredibly unhelpful, and I later found out more or less lied to me. She made me promise after promise that they simply didn't fulfill. 3-7 business days for delivery turned into 17. A final estimation of pricing ended up costing me $400 more because she left out certain hidden fees.

While waiting on my things to arrive, I had no one to call other than the customer service line. The customer service rep Luis was actually quite helpful, but he was probably the only shining light in this nightmare of an experience.

The kicker to it all? Every single box I shipped arrived smashed. A few even fully broke open.

Here's my advice to you: If you're going to go with them at all (which you should not), make sure you read every single inch of that contract. Because they'll get you on ANYTHING you miss.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4500

From the beginning, when Sarah contacted me with great questions, then was able to provide me an estimate that was quite competitive, I was impressed. After my move, I've got to say that the cost was more than worth it. Yohan and his crew were on time, polite, efficient, and timely! These guys know what they're doing, and they have a great system: they communicate well, and work non-stop. I was surprised at how smoothly they were able to load then unload to my new apartment.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $10360

Due to the timing to close, and some design changes to our new home we used their services to move us to our new house and place everything in the garage and barn until the interior was complete and ready to settle in. The scheduling staff and sales team provided excellent logistics and had the most friendly telephone voices and knowledge. The first crew was timely, efficient, professional, and moved us without issue. So for the final phase I requested them back however; they were not available, but to our delight the second crew were as professional and effective as the first team.

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $13380

Consigned this company to move me interstate. They said they’d confirm the quote with a site visit 3 days before the move date. Nope. Then, the day that my deposit was paid, they called to tell me they double booked and wouldn’t be able to pick up until 4 days later. Too bad I had made plans to be out of town by then. My booked hotels and vacation time… out the window! When asked how long the new transit time would be, it increased from 5-7 days to 1-2 weeks. This happened 3 days before the original pickup date.

Will update if they can correct these issues.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5500

They carefully wrapped my art work and furniture in plastic and blankets and took everything with them when they left - no mess left behind (including boxes I unpacked while they were still there). I also appreciated how they took some furniture I was getting rid of to donate for me. Other companies have charged high fees for taking stuff with them. I was so happy that they found a good use for older furniture items. Overall I recommend Next Stop moving company - they took all the stress out of the experience for me.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1570

It was a terrible experience using Next Stop Moving service,they made the whole moving process a painful and traumatic one.There are two thing in business which make happy customer ;trust and integrity this company has none of this. They kind of scammed us from day one.The people whom I talked initially -  Carline, Andrew went out of picture once Imade credit card authorization. Post that I had to talk with Luis who also gave me mental stress whenever I talked with him. They don't have their trucks for end to end delivery and your stuff gets transferred to another truck for delivery.  I gave an estimate of around 43 items, however they gave mean estimate for 38 saying it will fit in 500 cubic feet.On the day of moving their workers or contractor told me that the stuff will occupy 800 cubic feet and gave me a new quote increasing price from $2800 to $4500,  We end up discarding lot of our stuff , and using around 600cf in the truck. They are also charged us for packing materials and other surcharges. They promised one month free storage but that was also a lie, their loader named John,(idk if that was his correct name) himself put a date saying it’s just for approximation. After I moved to new location, I also called them to verify if they will store my stuff since I was still looking for an apartment, they said yes we will store it. However suddenly same weekend I got a call from truck driver that he will deliver my items tomorrow.Next day the same lady whom I spoke over the phone and whom had promised me that they will store the items, refused to store the items and told me that you already signed on a date and as per contract we can’t hold your stuff now. This was again very unprofessional and unethical way , again they cheated and did not kept their word, I had to literally stop my work and get a storage arranged . So I hope no one else have to suffer and will advise to avoid such business company. This company is also not BBB Accredited .

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3423

Our original moving company had to contract out our job to Next Stop Moving, and it was . The loading team was 4 hours late than expected, arriving around 7 PM. Kirill (I think?) was the head of the team that came to us in San Francisco to pack and load our things; he and his team are the only reason this company gets any stars. This loading team was professional and efficiently disassembled our furniture and packed our things. The unloading team at delivery for our long distance move was TERRIBLE. They too were more than 4 hours late as well, and did not arrive until 8:30 PM. One of them flat out ignored me (a woman) when I went to greet them; he instead shook hands with my husband and only acknowledged me when I said that I am the one paying for this move. Apart from being sexist, the delivery team also assembled our furniture incorrectly, damaging the furniture, as well as did not tell us that one of the furniture was actually broken and haphazardly screwed the broken legs together.

The company should 1) not be sexist, 2) adjust the way they schedule long distance moves so that the teams are not hours late, and 3) ensure that the same people do the disassembling and assembling of furniture to avoid damage.

Maybe they would be better at local moves. I would not recommend them for long distance moves to anyone.
